Shoyna
In 30-s", some fishing families have founded the coastal settlement named after the river Shoyna, at Kanin Nos peninsula. An abundance of fish and sea animals promoted prosperity of the collective farm organized there. 1500 person lived in this village already in 50"s. The fishing fleet of collective farm totaled more then 70 ships. Savage fishing with heavy trawls has led to utter annihilation of benthonic vegetation. Therefore thousands of tons of sand deposited by sea is carried by a wind now. Today more than half of settlement buryed under sandy dunes. The collective farm has stopped the existence.
